Hi ladies, today I am guest posting on Styling You where you can read about how my obsession for lipsticks came to life. I’d like to thank Nikki for this fantastic opportunity – I’ve met Nikki twice and I can tell you that she has great taste in lippies!! As well as sharing my passion for lipsticks, I was asked to share my current top 5 favourite lipsticks and, oh boy, it took me 2 long weeks to come up with the list – and that’s because I love so many!! Anyway, without further ado, please allow me to share…
My Current Top 5 Favourite Lipsticks
(In no particular order)
1. Lancome L’Absolu Nu 103 Rouge Mousseline ($49 AUD) – Sheer plum with microshimmer which gives a shiny, moisturising finish! Doesn’t have the heavy lipstick feel and has a delicate scent. LOVE!
2. NYX Black Label Lipstick Apple ($10.95 AUD) – Bright orange-red which gets compliments EVERY time I wear it! Great pop of colour! LOVE!
3. YSL Rouge Volupte 14 Orange Shiver ($55 AUD) - This is a trendy peachy-orange-nude shade perfect for Summer. I have mentioned before that I love the luxe packaging with a mirror on the lid – genius! LOVE!
4. FACE OF AUSTRALIA Lip Quench SPF30+ Malibu Barbie ($8.45 AUD)- Flirtatiously loud pink shade at an afforable price! Check out other colours in the range. LOVE! 5. Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited Supreme Shine RD 165 ($29.30 AUD at a membership online stockist but usual RRP is around $50) – Sheer shiny shimmery red with sexy packaging. Slightly disappointed with the number/letters name of it, but still LOVE!

Do any of these tickle your fancy? And what are your current top 5 favourite lippies?
FACE OF AUSTRALIA have recently launched 6 new lipstick shades in their Lip Quench collection and I got my paws on 3 of these babies to swatch for you today – Pink Champagne, Malibu Barbie and Forbidden Fruit. I love lipsticks which have names rather than letters and numbers (I’m looking at you Missha and Shu Uemura!)
Packaged in a tube with a see-through lid makes it easy to see which lippy to reach for. I find these FACE OF AUSTRALIA lipsticks moisturising with the shea butter and jojoba oil – which means that they glide onto lips easily. It is semi-matte and I am aware that I am wearing lipstick when I wear this…if that makes sense. And hello SPF 30+!!!!
There is a scent which is slightly floral, but herbal-ish (?) at the same time – but it’s not strong and overpowering so fear not.
Lasting power is 2-3 hours with Forbidden Fruit lasting the longest.
Overall, love the cheap and cheerfulness of the FACE OF AUSTRALIA Lip Quench range and did I mention that it has SPF 30+?
Lipstick Swatches
Pink Champagne is a pastel pink.
Malibu Barbie is a bright pink with lilac undertones.
Forbidden Fruit is a blue-based red which means you’ll have whiter teeth when wearing this!

This blue-red lip is stunning with Megan’s pale complexion. LOVE IT!!
Firstly, allow me to apologise if my last Lip Art tutorial offended you with its dodgy-ness. Hand on my heart – I DID NOT realise that it could come off as dodgy!!! I was seriously thinking about lollipops!! >_<
Anyway, moving on… I have a Gradient Lips Lip Art today!!! Nothing dodgy here!!! And it’s dedicated to Beauty Snippets and Prettymom because they suggested this on Twitter! This look is based on nymphette415‘s Gradient Lips tutorial. Very easy and looks pretty cool!
Eyeliners are Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil and Primark Soft Kohl Pencil.
If you have recreated a similar look, please feel free to post a photo or link me up on Lip Stalker’s Facebook page. So what do you think of my Gradient Lips? Lip Art or Lip Fart?
Introducing Lip Stalker’s Review On Sukin Nourishing Lip Treatment…
Made with natural ingredients including cocoa butter, shea butter and jojoba oil, my lips were pleasantly surprised by its ability to restore moisture to my dry flaky lips.
I am not a fan of Vaseline on my lips and let me assure you that it is way superior!! (Sorry Vaseline lovers!)
It’s one of my favourites to use under matte lipsticks.
If you have been following Lip Stalker since the beginning, you will have read Part 1 and Part 2 of the Urban Decay Pocket Rocket Lip Gloss Collection. Today is the final instalment showcasing Julio, Max and Kirk.
As I mentioned previously, I have a lot of love for the Urban Decay Pocket Rocket Lip Gloss Collection. It has been a pleasure to swatch and all the colours are spectacular in their own way. And I’ve got to mention the *blush* factor from the fit men in various states of undress from the raunchy packaging. The burnt caramel smell is also a delight to smell.
Urban Decay Pocket Rocket Lip Gloss Swatches
Urban Decay Pocket Rocket Lip Gloss – Julio
Julio is a clear gloss with ivory microshimmer. Great on its own or on top of a lipstick.
Urban Decay Pocket Rocket Lip Gloss – Max
Max is a beige caramel shade, which looks great swatched on my arm, but my lips didn’t do it justice when it was heavily applied. But when blotted, Max blends in much better. This would have to be my least favourite out of such a successful collection.
Urban Decay Pocket Rocket Lip Gloss – Kirk
Kirk is a sheer honey shade which genuinely surprised me because I didn’t quite fancy it till I swatched it on my lips.

Which one do you like the most out of these 3 shades?
Kit Cosmetics is an Australia brand I have grown to love as it embraces colour and is so funky!
Simply stunning! I have a penchant for coral lipsticks and as you can see, Fire Lighter is a pretty peachy-pink beauty. Application is easy peasy and the formula is moisturising. Lasting power is average. Sadly, the simple black packaging means that it can get neglected amongst my sea of lipsticks.
There are rumours that this is a dupe of MAC Amplified Creme Lipstick in Vegas Volt, but seeing as I am scared to approach the MAC counter (Hello, scary MAC Sales people!), I can neither confirm nor deny this rumour.

Non-Aussie readers will be disappointed after reading this lip balm review because endota spa is only available in Australia!
Seriously, this endota spa lip balm is one of the best lip balms I have EVER tried! My lips have been getting a lot of action lately (from swatching!) and they were cracked and my vertical lip lines were angry and deep. One afternoon, I cracked (pun intended) open this baby and applied this and re-applied 2 hours later. After I showered in the evening and sat down to dry my hair, I realised my lips were feeling nice and soft…and it was all because of endota spa organic lip balm in cinnamon & honey.
The cinnamon provides an initial 10-second kick and plumps up the lips – which would explain how it helped with filling out my deep vertical lip lines. The certified organic honey provides nourishment and soothes cracked lips. Altogether with the hygienic slanted tip applicator makes a winning lip balm.
It’s a tad pricey at $17 AUD, but it’s a high quality organic lip product which works wonders on dry, cracked lips. Is it my Holy Grail lip balm…? For now, yes, yes, yes!!
Nude by Nature have created a winning trio of natural mineral lip glosses which do not have any petrochemicals, parabens, nasty ingredients and they don’t support animal testing. The Pure Pout trio pack comes with Naked Kiss, Pure Plum and Virgin Blush – a couple of risqué names there!
To be honest, the plain brown packaging with the air bubbles in the formula do not scream “Buy me!” However, one thing I have learnt, as a beauty junkie, is that it’s not the packaging, but it’s what is inside that counts. And Nude by Nature have certainly delivered with these non-sticky, very shiny lip glosses which instantly fills in any lip lines and hides flakies. It’s slighty scented with a coffee mint smell…but then again, I don’t trust my nasal interpretations. It’s not my favourite scent but I don’t dislike it. More props for the hygienic slanted tip applicator!
Nude By Nature Pure Pout Natural Mineral Lip Trio Swatches
Naked Kiss is a peachy shimmer, Pure Plum is a plummy shimmer and Virgin Blush is a browny shimmer (which looks better on lips than on my arm!).

My favourite amongst the trio is Naked Kiss because it makes my lips look kiss-able! Which one is your favourite out of the Nude By Nature trio?
